Head of Capital Markets at Sunlight Financial
Deepesh has over 18 years of specialized experience in structuring and managing securitization programs. As Head of Capital Markets, he is responsible for raising funding from banks, credit unions and other investors to help fund Sunlight Financial's loan originations. Before joining Sunlight, Deepesh headed capital markets efforts at Kabbage, a tech enabled small business cash flow solution provider which was sold to American Express in 2020. Most recently, Deepesh was the Head of U.S. Capital Markets Execution at Barclays for six years. There, he oversaw Treasury-related capital market activities in the U.S. and was an active participant in industry advocacy efforts in the U.S. and Europe. Deepesh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and an MBA in Finance from Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
Student at University of California, Berkeley
Anika is currently a junior at UC Berkeley studying Computer Science with a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology. She enjoys developing software applications, dabbling in product design, and building inclusive communities in tech. She has previously interned at Google and T-Mobile. She is also very involved with the entrepreneurship scene on campus and serves as a venture fellow for Pear VC.
VP of Sessions
Rahul Rangaraaj is a student at Mission San Jose High School and has been involved in spreading financial literacy for several years. As VP of Sessions at Finatic, he is responsible for creating content, planning sessions, and educating students across the country on financial literacy topics. Alongside working at Finatic, Rahul is also the Director of Clubs at StreetFins where he helps connect investment clubs across the world in order to increase understanding of investing and the stock market among high school students. His commitment to financial literacy extends further with his roles as an officer of his school’s investment club as well as at the Youth Financial Literacy Ambassador Program. He aims to continue his involvement in educating the future generations about financial literacy throughout the years, and is always looking for new ways to help students understand their finances.
President and Founder
Aditya Bagga is a student at Cupertino High School and serves as the President of Finatic, overseeing all operations and working closely with each team member to best grow Finatic. He has been involved in finance and business related activities for years and has extensive experience in public speaking, going so far as to compete nationally, teaching, volunteering hundreds of hours to teach technology and debate, and enterprise, leading large projects at his school. Aditya looks to use Finatic as platform to spread awareness about financial illiteracy and spread financial knowledge to youth in all corners of the world.
